Leaving the derelict Castle Mona Hotel in Douglas to fall into a state of disrepair is 'disgraceful':
That's the message from the Chief Minister who told the House of Keys this week that government hasn't been offered the building for sale.
He also confirmed no plans had been put forward to turn the site into a national art gallery in conjunction with The Gubay Trust.
However Allan Bell did concede more could be done with the Island's haul of artwork saying a large number of paintings and artefacts are currently "buried" away:
